Welcome to ASPIRE!
Are you ready to take the next step in your figure skating journey? The Reading Figure Skating Club’s Aspire program is a great option for you. This program offers a bridge between Learn to Skate classes and Club membership. The Club’s Aspire program offers small group instruction that continue to build upon the skills taught in Learn to Skate and focuses on introducing figure skating skills, choreography, jumps, and spins. These classes are taught by our Club coaches are a great way to get to know us, continue your skating development, and prepare for our club membership.
Skaters are eligible to join Aspire once they have passed Basic 4 in the Learn to Skate curriculum and have their own skates.
What is
Aspire?
A program created by U.S. Figure Skating to help beginning skaters transition into to the sport of Figure Skating. The small class environment coupled with USFSA certified coaches helps skaters acquire new skills, develop good practice habits and learn the fundamentals of figure skating with their peers.
Mission
Our mission is to provide the tools for skaters to learn the fundamentals of figure skating through sport and artistry; and by challenging them to be their best on & off the ice.
